Running Accomplishments:

I have ran numerous 5k's. The funnest I think was the anywhere anytime race held in IF in January. You only know the day, they text you the time & you don't know the distance until you're done. Super fun! The other one was the cerebrun in PA. It was a 7-10 mile race with obstacle courses & the distance was determined on the path you took which was decided on your answer to crazy questions. I have ran 1 10k & got hurt 2 miles into my 2nd. I am finally back at it after a 6 months hiatus.

Short-Term Running Goals:

This year I want to do a race each month, building up to complete a few half marathons & at least one marathon in 2016.

Long-Term Running Goals:

My goal is to run as long as my body will tolerate it.

Personal:

I run to stay sane. I consider my runs my "me time". I am single & the mother of a furbaby who goes on my shorter runs with me, she can make it about 3 miles & she is spent. She's a great running partner.

Ran it in 46:24, burned 556 calories. I think this was the day I did 10 min on the treadmill, then went to the elliptical for 5 minutes & back to the treadmill to do the 4 miles.

Ran outside for the first time since the weather has changed. Ran 6.21 miles in 1:07 & burned 609 calories. I ran 10:52 min/mi average. My first 2 miles I was under 10 minutes & then I fatigued. It was hard battling the wind/cold & then warming up. The weather changed several degrees in that hour. I had to use my inhaler half way through. I need to slow it down a little next time.
